Eddie McKiernan, the fomer Monrovia High School pitcher, is in the Angels camp. McKiernan was 1-5 last year with a 3.73 ERA at Class A Cedar Rapids. The righthander struck out 56 and walked 16 in 62 1/3 innings.
McKiernan, who was a 17th round pick in the 2007 draft, was a last minute addition to the Angels big league camp and is hoping to make the opening day roster.
