The TEN

(“The Ten” is not a top ten, but ten items worth being included in The TEN)

1.) No California team will be in the baseball playoffs for the first time since 1999.    

2.) Diamond Ranch HC Roddy Layton appeared on the Prep Xtra Show and the Mid Valley Sports Show on Tuesday night.      

3.) The Angels’ Jordan Walden had a league leading 10 blown saves this year.            

4.) Schurr has been outscored 120-14 in its first three games.                 

5.) The Minnesota Vikings have blown halftime leads of 10, 17, and 20 points in their first three games.    

6. “As for Billy’s health, he is feeling better and looking forward to playing,” – Covina Coach Darryl Thomas on quarterback Billy Livingston.     

7.) Tom Brady tied a career high with four interceptions last Sunday in a loss to Buffalo.      

8.) Before Saturday, USC’s last loss to Arizona State was a 26-16 defeat on November 6, 1999 at the Coliseum in Los Angeles – a streak of 11 games.       

9.) The Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions, two teams that haven’t made the playoffs since 1999, are both 3-0.       

10.) Clayton Kershaw, not Matt Kemp, won the Triple Crown.
