The UFL is tinkering with a few things this spring. They’re getting rid of the Tush Push and making a field goal from 60 yards or more worth 4 points.

I don’t like getting rid of the Tush Push. I believe it can be solved on the field and that it exposes the NFL’s subjectivity in its “Replay Assist” feature.

Regarding the field goals, the four-point marker should be set up at the Dempsey Line of 63 yards and anything beyond that.

Since PATs are now 33-yard kicks, make kicks 33 yards worth two points, and kicks inside the 20 worth one. If the goal is to create more drama, then create more drama.

Has anybody seen the ABA documentary, “Soul Power”…? I’m a sucker for anything ABA, so I liked it.

Everyone is hot on the Rams drafting a cornerback in the first round, but did you know in the common draft era—1966 forward—the Rams have drafted 24 CBs in the Top 100?
(Three times in the first round: Jerry Gray, Todd Lyght, and Tye Hill.)

Of the 24, they whiffed on 12 of them. Corners are a huge gamble in the draft.

What would you be more inclined to do as a Rams fan?
Extend Byron Young at 4yrs/112-Rocks, 28-Rocks annually. (Some reports have Young’s market value at 35 to 37-Rocks)…Or would you sign free agent Baltimore Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum at 4yrs/80-Rocks—53-Rocks guaranteed?

Linderbaum between guards Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson, and a playmaking WR added at #13 in the draft?…I can already hear them crying in the streets of Seattle and San Francisco.

…And this is an impression I want to give. I want them to rot and lie stinking in the earth.

How do you think the ABS is going over with Major League Baseball players?

Today’s the 37th anniversary of Jerry Jones firing Tom Landry…I don’t think Jones did anything wrong. No matter how he fired Landry, he was going to be the villain.
