1.) Kent Hull, who played center for the Buffalo Bills’ teams that went to four straight Super Bowls from 1991-1994, passed away Tuesday at the age of 50.

2.) Raider Coach Hue Jackson recruited his newest quarterback Carson Palmer when he was an assistant at USC.

3.) Former UCLA Coach Bob Toledo resigned as the HC at Tulane after the Green Wave started 2-5. Toledo was 15-40 overall in four plus seasons.

4.) The St. Louis Cardinals are playing in their 18th World Series and have won 10, second only to the New York Yankees.

5.) USC (5-1) is ranked 28th in the AP Poll, one spot behind this week’s opponent Notre Dame (4-2).

6. Los Altos running back Justin Fa’aola.

7.) San Dimas has five different running backs with at least 220 yards rushing.

8.) Whittier Christian’s Grant Escobar: (42 receptions, 519 yards, 5 touchdowns.)

9.) Covina’s Justin Mason: (13 receptions, 343 yards, 9 touchdowns, 26.39 yards per catch.)
