Cedric Ho is not missing the Dakotas

Cedric Ho is not missing the Dakotas

By Joe Torosian

Good Morning!

T-minus-52 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

If we have a Lower Azusa, can someone tell me where Upper Azusa is? Is it called Alta Azusa?

Have I mentioned that I have always been a Jason Schmidt fan? Never doubted his comeback for a moment.

Former TC cornerback Alex “Blackjack” Dunn is missing football…

Former Dodger Cesar Izturis, currently in Baltimore, had a bad night on the bases Monday…and could soon be in need of federal stimulus dollars…

One time M-Town receiving standout Fernando Gonzalez is playing at La Verne these days…

Key things to do today; Hook up with former SG/Gabrielino product Cedric Ho…We hear he’s buying…

When I hear the name John Smoltz…I always think its going to be promoting Smoltz Beer or Smoltz Lager…

Diamond Ranch player to keep an eye on is junior Amari Staten.

Former Arcadia Apache offensive lineman Bruce Matthews is an assistant with the Houston Texans…You know, I think he’s going to make it big time in football…call it a hunch…

Note to Local Football Players: Even Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger can get caught up in things that are ugly…most likely innocent…it still boils down to the company you keep.

ESPN’s  “Fan Feast” push on soccer and the World Cup puts new meaning to the word dimwitted…One more time: The world may love soccer, but we are Americans, we are better, and we don’t have to settle for soccer…Play it, enjoy it, have fun, but since I was 13 watching the L.A. Aztecs, the California Surf, George Best, and Steve David I’ve been told soccer is the next great thing… “Sorry Hans, wrong guess…”

How’s that for myopia?

Last Note to Local Football Players: If I see you on a skateboard anytime between now and Thanksgiving I will rat you out to your coaches…You’re not only messing with your teams season, but my livelihood…

Does anybody remember Dancing Barry?

Well if you don’t, don’t worry former Laker Mark Madsen is back in town thanks to the Clippers…and no one puts a face on seizure better than Madsen…

Believe it or not, growing up the Dodgers-Reds was bigger than Dodgers-Giants…those games were always intense…Including a nice-brawl in 1979…featuring my favorite two-year Dodger of all time; Gary Thomasson.

Stay thirsty my friends…
