1.) Baylor and Washington combined for 123 points and 1377 yards in the Alamo Bowl.                    

2.) Andrew Bynum was pulled over twice by police in two days for traffic violations.                          

3.) Dwayne Wade is still the go to guy at the end for Miami.                             

4.) Jeremy Major.                                   

5.) New England Pro Bowler Matthew Slater is the son of former LA Ram Jackie Slater.                      

6.) There was free pizza for the press at La Salle High School Thursday night for the La Salle/Temple City Tournament.                          

7.) USC and UCLA both lose Pac-12 Conference openers.                          

8.) Rose Bowl participants Wisconsin and Oregon are both averaging over 44 points per game.                          

9.) Heisman Trophy Winner Robert Griffin III was 24 for 33 for 295 yards and a touchdown for Baylor. Washington quarterback Keith Price was 23 for 37 for 438 yards and four touchdowns.
