“The Across America Edition”

Good Morning!

T-minus-25 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

The Knights led in the fourth quarter, forging a 12-7 lead before Tim Vance put TC up for good on a nine-yard pass to Hani Alexander. Kevin Moore leads Temple City with 144-yards rushing.

Sophomore Willie Reyna makes his debut for Arroyo and connects with Armando Davila for 11-yards and a score.

The Knights go 12-2 and win CIF, the Rams run to 13-0 before losing in the CIF finals to Hart, 40-27.

In North Carolina it’s not necessarily chicken & dumplings, but chicken & pastry…

Three thousand miles from home, four thousand miles into vacation, and I’m still loving Orlando Hudson.

Obligatory John Scanlan Question of the Day; Is Orlando Hudson the best Dodger free agent signing since Kirk Gibson?

My feelings and concerns about getting old are lessened when I consider to my great good fortune that I am not Peterson Old…

Has there been an infomercial done on how to keep a source of income while staying perpetually on vacation…Please no unemployment jokes…I can’t make enough from unemployment to keep me dining on lobster.

For the Halo Challenged…Just because I say they have a good team does not mean, I will stop rooting against them until they rot and lie stinking in the Earth…

Got an email from an M-Towner not named Josh Lowden who says the Wildcats will win it all in the Mid-Valley division this season…I reminded them Monrovia was 0-7 all time in the big game, they reminded me that Ryan Maddox is only in his second year…

Maddox secures the sports karma with an appearance on The Mid Valley Sports Show tomorrow night…

…I used to work with those guys…Hey at least I got bumped before I turned into Chris Berman…then again after this vacation I do sort of have a Berman build…I believe the nickname will no longer be just “Joe T.”, but “Big Joe T.”…

A little disappointed with the lack of thunder and lightening this week, you’d think at these fancy vacation prices I could see a little electricity in the air…

Stay thirsty my friends…
