Late in the fourth, and down 12, the Mustang (1-3) defense forced Zertuche to fumble and Walnut’s Christopher Cuevas came up with the ball from under the pile. Five plays later, Siete scored on eight yard Keeper and the Mustangs trailed 27-21 with 7:22 in the fourth.
Thats when Covina (3-1) took over.
