Week Three Round Up: Mid-Valley Division

The Vikings (2-2, 0-0) held the Eagles (1-2, 0-0) scoreless until the third as they ended their two-game skid Friday night at Covina District Field.

Javon Taylor rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns while quarterback Victor Garcia added the other touchdown, a four-yard strike to Christian Alba.

Alhambra 21, L.A. Wilson 7

The Moors (2-2, 0-0) scored 21 unanswered points after surrendering a touchdown on the opening kickoff to the Mules (1-3, 0-0) Friday night at Moors Field.

Christian Caraveo put the Moors up for good as he returned a blocked field goal attempt 80 yards for a touchdown, putting the Moors up 14-7 in the third quarter. Ezra Broadus and Armando Amaya also added touchdowns in the win.
Marshall 28, South Region #2 7

De’Angelo Swinney had a passing and rushing touchdown as the Eagles (2-2, 0-0) closed out their nonleague schedule by dominating the Huskies Friday night at South Region No. 2 High in Los Angeles.

Josh Bascou rushed for a touchdown and Diego Gonzalez scored two field goals in the win. The Huskies scored on a turnover at the Eagles’ five-yard line.
