1. New York Jets corner Darrelle Revis out for the year with a torn ACL.

2. The Dodgers (4.5 games back in the wild card race) and the Angels (2.0 back) would both be out if the playoffs started today.

3. The Arizona Cardinals are 3-0 for the first time since 1974.

4. The Lakers and the Miami Heat are the co-favorites to win the NBA title at 9-4 odds.

5. Kerri Walsh-Jennings was pregnant when she won the gold medal in beach volleyball at the London Olympics.

6. Seattle Seahawks receiver Golden Tate.

7. “Hey, at least I don’t have to go in and watch film on Saturday mornings.” – Former football coach and current high school official Steve Collins.
