1.) David Stern announce’s he will step down as Comissioner of the NBA in February of 2014.

3.) “Unbelievable!”— La Puente HC Brandon Rohrer after the Warrior’s last second victory over Duarte in Week Eight.

4.) Former Temple City standout basketball player Kevin Sweeney turns 28 today.

5.) Arroyo last missed the playoffs in 1983. MVS staffers Matt-Nice, Big George, Omelette, Gonzo, and Corn-Dawg still had not been born.

6.) “You gonna buy your offensive linemen In ‘N Out burgers?”— Tribune writer John Honell to Northview’s Javon Taylor after the Vikings 41-6 victory over Nogales on Thursday night.

7.) “Probably one of the best articles I read in long while. Nice job Tony!”— Prep Fan on Big Tony Solorzano’s game story for Santa Fe-La Serna on Friday night.

8.) La Canada last won at Temple City on October 15, 2004. The Spartans beat the Rams 39-30 to ruin TC’s 50th aniversay game. (The two teams tied 14-14 at North Field in 2008)

9.) San Marino last won at Monrovia in 1994. The Titans beat the Wildcats 14-10.
