2.) West Covina returns right tackle Bryson Finley (6-1, 293) & left tackle Chris Fernandez (6-2, 265) in 2013.

4.) On this date two years ago (2011) Joel Murphy resigned as the football HC at Maranatha. In five seasons Murphy compiled a 47-16 record with five playoff appearances.

Jim Plunkett has career stats similar to Joe Namath, but two Super Bowl rings to Broadway Joe’s one…Yet the Hall of Fame still hasn’t given Plunkett the call.
