2.) On this date in 2009 Temple City offensive coordinator Jude Oliva announces that he had a change of heart and decides to return to San Gabriel after accepting Anthony White’s offer to join him at TC a few days before.

3.) Longtime MLB pitcher Virgil Trucks dies at the age of 95.

4.) In 2012 El Monte scored 63 touchdowns and was 37 of 63 on two-point attempts.
