1. Matt Kemp hits his first home run of the year but the Dodgers fall to the Mets 7-3 on a walk off grand slam by Jordany Valdespin.

2. Tony Parker scores 28 points to lead San Antonio to a 102-91 win over the Lakers and a 2-0 lead in the series.

3. Louisville guard Russ Smith is returning for his senior year.

4. Kings captain Dustin Brown was suspended two games for elbowing Minnesota forward Jason Pominville Tuesday night.

5. Oklahoma City survives a 21-2 fourth quarter Houston run to beat the Rockets 105-102 and take a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference playoffs.

6. George Steckbeck has a 0.79 ERA in 17 2/3 innings pitched for first place La Canada.

7. Junior Ryan Orozco is hitting .391 for Montebello. The Oilers are in first place in the Almont League with a 9-1 record.

8. Coaches from Arizona, Oklahoma, Arizona State and Washington State were at La Mirada High School at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning to watch the Matadores compete.
