Peterson had a somewhat of a coming out season a year ago throwing for over 2000 yards and 23 touchdowns. Peterson is only a junior and figures to get better over the next couple of seasons. Despite putting up big numbers last year Peterson is looking for a bigger and better goal in 2013- lead the Brahmas into the playoffs. In the SGV Shootout Peterson was slinging it all day as Diamond Bar advanced to the finals before falling to Arroyo.
There was some talk of a quarterback controversy when Antonio “Noodles” Hull transferred in from West Covina but that was seemingly put to rest with Peterson’s strong summer. Since then Hull has been declared ineligible by CIF dispelling any lingering rumors. Peterson has plenty of targets to throw to and should thrive Ryan Maine’s wide open offense. If the Brahmas are going to take that next step this year it will Peterson out in front leading the charge.
