(Diamond Bar) – Antonio “Noodles” Hull, who checked out of West Covina earlier this year and enrolled at Diamond Bar, has been denied eligibilty according to the CIF Southern Section website.

(Whittier)- La Serna outscored West Covina 35-3 after falling behind early by two touchdowns and went to to beat the Bulldogs 35-17 Friday night at Whittier District Field to advance to the Southeast Finals.

Firm of Salgado, Love and Hull Lead Bulldogs

(Covina) – DeShon Love rushed for 155 yards including a 78 yard touchdown and Aaron Salgado had a 36 yard TD jaunt to lead West Covina to a 34-0 shutout of Covina Friday night to open the 2012 season.

With guys like Chris Solomon, Jimmy Frazier and Aaron Salgado all Head Coach Mike Maggiore was going to do was pound the ball and he did it all they way to a second consecutive CIF Championship.

West Covina Wins Shootout

(El Monte) – West Covina beat Northview 30-18 to win the SGV Shootout at Arroyo Saturday. The Bulldogs, not traditionally a passing team, knocked off Monrovia in the semi finals before dispatching of Northview. Monrovia beat Whittier Christian in the consolation game.
