2013 Northwest Offensive Coordinator of The year: Oak Park’s Casey Webb

Oak Park OC Casey Webb ...Northwest OC of the Year

Oak Park OC Casey Webb …Northwest OC of the Year

How good can life be for an OC? Try having Chandler Whitbord at quarterback passing for over 3,000 yards and rushing for 1,000 yards. How about having Brandon Coppel rush for over 1,300 yards. Take a receiver like Matt Byer catching 100 passes for nearly 2,000 yards and 30 touchdowns.

All of these guys were on the same team…but they needed someone to put the schematic together, someone needed to find a way to spread that ball around. That someone was Casey Webb.

Oak Park’s 27 year old offensive coordinator (and alumnus who played under Dick Billingsley) put together the game plan that allowed the Eagles to record the most rushing yards (3,109) in a single season, the most passing yards (3,235) in a single season, and the most points (538) in a single season.

Webb, just in his second year, jumped Oak Park’s point totals over three hundred points which helped spike its win total from five to 11 in 2013.

Team effort all the way, but this guy did his job very well.
