1. Brett Hundley throws for  262 yards and two touchdowns and runs for 161 and two scores to lead UCLA to a 42-12 rout of Virginia Tech in the Sun Bowl.

2. Johnny Manziel completes 30 of 38 for 382 yards and four touchdowns as Texas A&M rallies to beat Duke 52-48 in the Chick-fil-A-Bowl.

3. Bill O’Brien has reached an agreement to coach the Houston Texans.

4. The Lakers fall to the Milwaukee Bucks (7-24) to drop to 13-19 on the year.

5. The Lakers are in trade talks with the Cleveland Cavaliers involving Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.

9. On this day in 1999 Ron Dayne ran for four touchdowns to lead Wisconsin to a 38-31 win over UCLA in the Rose Bowl. The Bruins led by Cade McNown racked up over 500 yards in a losing effort.
