Jorge Reyna (shown here in 2012’s Southeast title win over La Serna) has checked out of Downey and is headed to Pasadena.
It’s been speculated and the subject of internet rumors for a long time and now it has come about. Quarterback Jorge Reyna has checked out of Downey and will be enrolling at Pasadena.
In two seasons leading the Vikings Reyna has thrown 33 touchdown passes against only 10 interceptions. He’s rushed for 2,021 yards and 16 touchdowns. Downey won the Southeast Division championship in 2012 when Reyna was only a sophomore.
The Pacific League already returns Brian Gadsby at Crescenta Valley and Ryan Meredith at Burbank.
