(Santa Barbara) – Baldwin Park’s business vacation in the Santa Barbara area this weekend reaped successful dividends in both games for their fourth and fifth consecutive wins, beginning with a 4-0 shutout against San Marcos on Friday before rallying late to defeat Bishop Diego 7-5 on Saturday.

Sergio Flores threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings in relief towards a win, and helped his own cause by contributing two hits and two RBI, including a game-tying RBI double before sharp shooting Justin Padilla capped a four run top-7th and came through with a go-ahead two run single in the comeback victory over Bishop Diego.

On Friday, Jordan Palacio pitched a complete game three hit shutout for the Braves, which blanked San Marcos 4-0 and received a huge two run triple from Justin Padilla.
