1.  The Dodgers sweep the series in Australia against the Diamond Backs. Clayton Kershaw and Hyun-Jin Ryu combine to pitch 11 2/3 innings striking out 12 while walking only two.

2.  L.A. Kiss quarterback J.J. Raterink throws for 270-yards and seven touchdowns in the Kiss 69-63 loss to the Orlando Predators.

3.  The Pac 12 has three teams in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships.

4.  Maranatha’s Jeffery Oki is 4-0 with one earned run in four games pitching and is hitting .458 with two home runs and eight rbi’s batting.

5.  Payton Manning turns 38 today.
