Bonita’s Jake Payton is heading to Chadron State
(La Verne) – Runnning back Jake Payton, who started his high school career at San Dimas and finished it at Bonita last year, is heading to Nebraska to continue playing football at Chadron State he confirmed today.
Payton was originally going to Army but coaching changes led to Payton to land at Chadron State. Last year Payton rushed for 1291 yards and 12 touchdowns averaging over eight yards per carry.
Payton will be leaving for school in August.
