Norwalk Linemen Take Santa Fe
[Santa Fe] Norwalk took its first three events to cruise to a dominating win at host Santa Fe’s Tournament of Champions lineman competition.
The Lancers took the tire flip, bench press and cleans with the best time and most reps.
The Chiefs and Loyola came in in the final event fighting for second and third.
Norwalk was surprised on the tug-a-war losing to Chavez high school from Arizona.
El Monte and Mt.View showed up representing for the Mission Valley League. Host Santa Fe, Warren, Bell, Garden Grove, Bellflower and Loyola were also among the 30 teams that competed.
