Pasadena Drains “The Swamp”, 50-7

(South El Monte)- The Pasadena Bulldogs went right to work and opened the 2014 campaign with a 50-7 blasting of the South El Monte Eagles on Friday at “The Swamp” in South El Monte.

The Bulldogs jumped to a 44-0 lead in the first half thanks in part to Jorge Reyna’s three touchdown passes and three big touchdown runs by Joseph Thomas.

Thomas scored on runs of 70, 25, and 60-yards. Reyna connected with Carlos Pineda for a 13-yard score, then with Chaz Collins on a 5-yard slant, and Elijah Trejo on a bubble screen that covered 15-yards to paydirt.
