With the zero week games now in the books, is it fair to believe that Diamond Bar and Diamond Ranch are contenders after overwhelming their Mid-Valley opponents? Will Alta Loma be better off by dropping a few pegs in the Division rung? Do the Rio Hondo teams have a punchers chance in the Central Division? 

  1. Kaiser (0-0) – Running game is key with Joshua Johnson.
  2. Colony (1-0) – Semi-finalist last season in the Central, the Titans are poised to run the table in the Sunkist.
  3. Charter Oak (0-1) – Chargers will be just fine after loss to Gators, game next week at La Mirada might be good barometer for both in their perspective divisions.
  4. Monrovia (1-0) – Chris Stevens era begins with a win, now face Central Division test against Bonita.
  5. Glendora (0-0) – Tartans could be the sleeper team in the Central.
  6. Los Altos (1-0) – Didn’t generate much offense but defense held tough until they could break through against Santa Monica.
  7. San Marino (1-0) – Big offensive night is a positive, the defense might be a big problem.
  8. South Hills (1-0) – Big win over Covina as Jesse Garcia ran wild.
  9. Diamond Bar (1-0) – Easily handled Montebello, through the air, on the ground and defensively.
  10. West Covina (0-1) – Never discount the Bulldogs.
