The three best quarterbacks in the division may be playing for the top three teams on this list. Then again, Jesse Hanckel is getting it done for Village Christian with nine scoring tosses. Long way to go, but a Nipomo-Maranatha final would be a lot of fun.

.) Nipomo Titans, 3-1 (Northern League): Quarterback Matt Albright has thrown for 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns in four games.

.) Maranatha Minutemen, 4-0 (Olympic League): The Bogan Effect is in play…This team is getting better by the week.

.) Arrowhead Christian Eagles, 4-0 (Ambassador League): Quarterback Bradley Mowbray has thrown for 754 yards and 11 touchdowns in four games.

.) Mission Prep Royals, 2-1 (Northern League): Royals keep pounding the ball with Dyllan Smiley.

.) Village Christian Crusaders, 4-0 (Olympic League): Mark Bates team just keeps racking up points and rolling opponents.

.) Valley Christian Crusaders, 3-1 (Olympic League): Loss to Mayfair is very disappointing.

.) Rio Hondo Prep Kares, 2-2 (Prep League): It’s never about what you have on the roster, but what is healthy enough to go on the field. Are the Kares healthy?

.) Big Bear Bears, 3-1 (De Anza League): Solid bounce back win.

.) Templeton, 3-1 (Northern League): Here come the Eagles…bringing the boom, boom, bash to the Northern League.

.) Pasadena Poly, 3-0 (Prep League): Had a solid performance against “bye” this week.

Others (in no order): Cantwell (2-1), Aquinas (2-1), St. Bernard (3-1), Whittier Christian (2-2*), Desert Mirage (2-2), Heritage Christian (3-1), Notre Dame-Riverside (3-1), Verbum Dei (2-2).
