Sierra Canyon and Isaiah Renfro hold fast to the #1 spot.

The Gold Coast League (Ocean and Valley) dominates the top of the list. Rosemead breaks into the top ten for the first time this year pulling off the upset over Arroyo. Pomona dropped again but don’t go to sleep on the Red Devils or you’ll regret it.

1.  Sierra Canyon (5-0) A win this week against Nordhoff will be really bad news for the rest of the Mid Valley Division.

2. Viewpoint (5-0) Good things happen when your defense is only giving up 15 a game and the offense is putting up 40.

3. Paraclete (4-2) The Spirits  vault into the third spot with a solid win over Bishop and a San Dimas stumble.

4. Northview (4-1) To stay at number four the Vikings will have to find an answer for San Dimas.

5. San Dimas (3-2) The Saints fall to five with a less than stellar performance against Bonita for the Smudge Pot.

6. Covina (3-2) Should roll until they travel to San Dimas on October 24.

7. Rosemead (2-4) Huge win over Arroyo vaults the Panthers into the top ten. Mission Valley League is now theirs for the taking.

8. Arroyo (4-2) The Knights will need to shake off the loss to Rosemead and not take an El Monte team that can move the ball too lightly.

9. La Puente (4-2) Open Miramonte League play Friday with a showdown against Pomona.

10. Pomona (2-4) The loss to Santa Monica showed just how important Darreonn Lockett is to the Red Devils.

In the mix: Azusa (2-3), Bassett (3-3), Ganesha (4-2), Brentwood (4-1)
