3. Former South Hills HS alum Jason Giambi retires after 19 seasons.

4. Anthony Bosch gets 4-year prison sentence.

5. Marantha and La Mirada boy’s are top seeds in their prespective division brackets for playoffs. Burroughs/Burbank is the girl’s highest seed in the area.

6. Gabrielino boy’s basketball have not lost since December 27, 2014. They face Monrovia in the first round of the playoffs.

7. APU men’s and women’s basketball have clinched spots in the PacWest Conference tournament. Men’s team could get bye in first round of tournament.
