Late Storm Sinks KISS

(Tampa Bay) – Tampa Bay scored with 15 seconds left on a touchdown pass from Jason Boltus to TT. Tolliver to erase a three point deficit and beat the LA KISS 38-34 Saturday night.

The KISS went up 34-31 with less than five minutes left but were unable to hold on. Tampa Bay led 10-0 after one quarter but the KISS bounced back to a take a 14-10 lead at the half when Danny Southwick hit Donovan “Captain” Morgan late in the second quarter.

The Storm scored first in the third quarter to go up 17-14 but Miles Mason rumbled in for his second TD of the night to give the KISS a 20-17 advantage.

The lead then exchanged hands a couple of times before Tolliver hauled in the game winner.

With the loss the KISS fell to 4-13 on the season with just one game remaining. The KISS is in last place in the National Conference West. The Storm improved to 7-10 but is still bringing up the rear in the American Conference South.
