League play kicks into full swing this week and the cream is starting to separate itself. While last season the power was largely based up north, this year it is east and south. LC & NDR right now are on a collision course for Thursday night, October 22. A game that will decide the Ambassador League and of course…the fate of the world.

.) Linfield Christian (5-0): Lorenzo Burns has passed for a touchdown, ran for seven, caught two, and returned two punts for scores this season.

.) Notre Dame/Riverside (5-0): Quarterback Niles Harrell has thrown 14 touchdown passes and should ring up several more this week at Arrowhead Christian.

.) Twentynine Palms (1-0, 5-0): The 29ers and Jimmy Shragge blowing opponents up and Shadow Hills is next.

.) Nipomo (2-4): The Titans have become the victims of their own scheduling…Life will improve this week with Morro Bay. If not, then it’s time to call Ghostbusters.

.) Mission Prep (3-2): Royals riding a two game losing streak and things get seriously serious against Templeton this week.

.) Pasadena Poly (3-2): The Panthers get Mt. View Christian of Las Vegas for lunch on Saturday. Ready to roll in the Prep League.

.) Ontario Christian (4-1): The Knights have a great defense, the problem is they play in the Ambassador League.

.) Templeton (4-2): Michael Capelli needs to have a big game if the Eagles are going to take down Mission Prep.

.) Rancho Mirage (1-1, 4-2): Rattlers and Kyle Whitefield playing for second place in the De Anza League…The decider will be the season ender against Shadow Hills.

.) Bishop Montgomery (4-1): The Knights had a bye last week…and a bye this week with Bosco Tech…and quarterback Brendan Marafino is making plays.
