Mid Valley Division Game Night: Week 7

All game times 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.

Thursday

Valle Vista League

San Dimas (4-2, 1-0) at Northview (5-1, 1-0) at Covina District Field.

The Saints are formidable when they put points on the board and the Vikings only blemish is missed two-point conversion against Montebello. With the Valle Vista title most likely on the line this one might be close.

Northview 35 San Dimas 27

Friday

Almont League

Bell Gardens (4-2, 1-0) at Alhambra (3-3, 1-0)

The Moors are an improved team in 2015 beating the teams they are supposed to. On the other hand they haven’t played anyone quite on par with the Lancers this season.

Bell Gardens 40 Alhambra 20

Mission Valley League

Arroyo (5-2, 3-0) at Mt, View (4-2, 1-1)

At 4-2 so far in 2015, Victor Ambruso is continuing to build confidence in a Viking dying to be in the conversation for tops in the Mission Valley League. As usual, the Knights are already there.

Arroyo 27 Mt. View 21

Miramonte League

Ganesha (5-2, 0-1) at Pomona  (4-2, 0-0)

Who will make war with the Red Devils in the Miramonte? The answer? No one. Pomona is too rich in talent for anyone to come close.

Pomona 56 Ganesha 17

Montview League

Baldwin Park (3-3, 1-0) at Azusa (1-5, 1-0)

Who would have thought the Aztecs would get their first win of 2015 in week six? The Braves are riding a three game winning streak and are now the favorites to win the Montview.

Baldwin Park 28 Azusa 14

Gladstone (3-3, 1-0) at Sierra Vista (2-4, 1-0)

Harrison Huff leads the Gladiators in rushing with 747 yards and nine scored. It could be a long night for the Dons who have lost three of their last four.

Gladstone 37 Sierra Vista 23

Gold Coast – Ocean League

McAuliffe (0-4, 0-0) at Viewpoint (4-3, 0-0)

The Patriots will score early and often and get their starters some rest in preparation for Paraclete next week.

Viewpoint 52 McAuliffe 6

Saturday

Non-league

Bishop (3-3, 1-0) at Sierra Canyon (6-0, 0-0)

The Trailblazer pasted Nordhoff last week and have similar designs waiting for the Broncos. Look for Sierra Canyon to cruise in to league play at 7-0.
