(Pico Rivera) – El Rancho Head Coach Roddy Hiatt has taken at leave of absence sources confirmed Wednesday.
Hiatt reportedly was injured in a fall last week and was briefly hospitalized and doctors have recommended that he take a leave due to stress. Cedric Allen, brother of defensive lineman Malachi Allen, will take over as interim coach.
The Dons are 0-6 overall and 0-1 in the Del Rio League after last week’s 34-15 loss to Santa Fe.
