1. The Toronto Blue Jays beat Texas 6-3 to win the ALDS in five games.

2. The Kansas City Royals beat Houston 7-2 to win the ALDS in five games and advance to the ALCS against Toronto.

3. The Angels fire pitching coach Mike Butcher and hitting coach Don Baylor.

4. The LA Kings are 0-3 after a 3-0 loss to Vancouver Tuesday night at Staples Center.

5. UCLA at Stanford Thursday night, 7:30 p.m.

6. Former Laker Forward Lamar Odom continues to fight for his life after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. According to a 911 call Odom had been using cocaine and took up to 10 tabs of of an over-the-counter sexual enhancer over the past previous three days.
