(Pomona) – Diamond Ranch will be seeking its fourth coach in the last four years as Jimmy Welker is out after just one year sources confirmed late Friday.

Welker, who took over for Mario Gomez, who also spent one year as HC, went 7-4 overall last year. The Panthers fell to CIF Central Division Champion San Marino 35-21 in the first round of the playoffs.

Roddy Layton spent eight years at the D Ranch helm before stepping down after the 2013 season. No reason was given for Welker’s departure.
