By Tim Peterson (Pomona) – Nin Burns II, who played quarterback at Covina last year, has been officially cleared by CIF as a transfer to Diamond Ranch the CIF Southern Section website posted Wednesday.

Diamond Ranch Wins Bonita Air Assault

(La Verne) – Diamond Ranch beat Upland 18-16 to win the championship at the Bonita Air Assault Saturday. The Panthers beat Valencia in the semis to advance while Upland knocked off Monrovia. Culver City beat Muir in the consolation final. Here’s a few shots. 

South Hills Still Perfect; Edges Diamond Ranch

(Covina) – Juaquin Elliott scored twice, including a five-yard run in the fourth quarter to lead South Hills to a 24-21 win over Diamond Ranch Thursday night at Covina District Field.
