Joe T.’s not too thrilled with Rams deal with Titans.

“…I let it go. And I said to myself, this is the business we’ve chosen!”

Kick it!

Right off the Top: Tim Peterson said Kobe Bryant’s 60-point performance on Wednesday night couldn’t have been scripted any better.

I caught bits of it…It looked epic…And it also looked scripted to me. Something was off but I can’t put a finger on it. After all, the dude still had to knock down all of those shots.

…But if he had 60 to give on Wednesday night how come he didn’t have much else to give over the course of the season?

Just a thought before sipping the Kool-Aid…Am I just being overly conspiratory on this?

The Los Angeles Rams gave up way too much to the Tennessee Titans…Yeah, they got the number one pick but it’s smart to build a team around second and third rounders (if you can)…See Seattle…You get prime years without an immediate salary cap crunch…

Until the offensive line is right…Dan Marino in his prime would struggle as the Rams quarterback…Right now an 8-8 record sounds like a good season for this team.

My question is can the new “lifelong” Rams fans handle a non-winning season and another postseason sitting at home?

I love Jackie Robinson Day, I love the fact that his jersey is retired by MLB, but I really hate the way his post-playing-career and the toll of all he endured has been largely ignored.

The movie “42” was good…but they gave it this sweet, overly dramatized, somewhat happy ending. Robinson’s life was victorious…but it was not without pain. That aspect of his bio needs to be shared and the public made more aware of.

Last Add Kobe Bryant: “Kobe Bryant is the most fraudulent superstar celebrity athlete we’ve ever seen…His narcissism and selfishness destroyed a franchise.”—Jason Whitlock, sportswriter, telling his thoughts on Kobe Bryant.

He’s not my favorite player of all time…but this guy played 20 years and when it was within his reach he got better each year. A great, great player…but give me Magic Johnson all eight days of the week.

What should have happened on Survivor Wednesday Night: The girls blew it…Then again when you have no leadership things tend to fall apart…They needed to vote for one of the guys and flush both the idols they had. Julia really blew it because she had individual immunity…They should have voted out a guy…the idols would have been played…a girl would have gone home…but the gals would have been in control…Instead, they voted out a girl and the guys still have both idols.

Big mistake.

Next Add Rams: It seems like this move secures Jeff Fisher for at least two more seasons. Unless this coming year is an unmitigated disaster, management is not going to want to put a second year, expensive, quarterback through the rigors of learning a new system.

Midbits (same as ‘Tidbits’)

Midbits: “Facebook is awesome…I feel like I’m watching a game with all of my friends but I don’t have to feed them or wait for them to leave when it’s over.”—Joe T.

Midbits: “Sorry, but I find John Kasich in these TV interviews appreciably more egomaniacal than Trump.”—Dennis Miller

Midbits: Whenever Jackie Robinson Day comes around I think of Butch Huskey…I don’t know why.

Midbits: I’m hearing, through infamous back channels, that Alhambra is ready for a breakthrough this year.

Midbits: Jerry Sands lives…as a member of the Chicago White Sox.
