Mid Valley High School Girls Basketball Top 20

The Mid welcomes Burroughs to the Top 20 party for this week as they face #2 Crescenta Valley on Wednesday.  Also #6 Alhambra travels to Keppel for Almont League supremacy on Tuesday.

1.  Diamond Ranch (17-2) – Take care of Bonita to get the jump on a Miramonte League title.

2.  Crescenta Valley (16-4) – Falcons have yet to drop a home game.

3.  La Canada (18-3) – Lady Spartans are playing some tough defense.

4.  Bishop Amat (15-5) – Lancers get back down to earth with loss to Serra.

5.  Bonita (18-2) – Bearcats get a good rebound win against Wilson after loss to Diamond Ranch.

6.  Alhambra (15-4) – Moors get litmus test against Keppel.

7.  Walnut (16-3) – Mustangs continue to dominate San Antonio League.

8.  Muir (11-7) – After a slow start, Mustangs are scary good right now.

9.  Glendora (16-4) – Tartans have won six of seven games.

10.  La Salle (13-6) – Lancers have dropped two straight games.

11.  Valley Christian (15-4) – Taylor Cotton leads the team with eight rebounds a game.

12.  Rosemead (13-4) – Panthers  take round one in Arroyo rivalry.

13.  South Hills (13-5) – Still not able to get by Walnut for San Antonio League lead.

14.  Santa Fe (15-7) – Chiefs are lead by Jessica Romero’s nine points a game.

15.  Sierra Vista (13-5) – Lady Dons get a 71-point win over Bassett.

16.  Covina (13-7) – Colts are now in the drivers seat in Valle Vista League.

17.  Pasadena Poly (13-2) – Panthers have a tough non-league battle against Milliken Community this week.

18.  Flintridge Prep (16-5) – Rebels take frustration out on Webb.

19.  San Dimas (13-7) – Saints lose a tough one to Covina last week.

20.  Burroughs (13-7) – Indians are led in scoring by Lisha Elsenbach’s 17 points per game.
