(Glendale)- Crescenta Valley quarterback, Cole Doyle, proved to be a dual threat in a 51-12 victory over the La Canada Spartans on Friday night at Moyse Field in Glendale.

The Falcons sophomore signal caller rushed for over a hundred yards and two touchdowns and pass for another pair as CV improved to 2-1 on the season and LC fell to 2-2

Will Rees and Tyler Hill added rushing scores for the Falcons. Doyle’s two scoring throws went to Rees and Hill as well.

Grady Schilling added a pick, Chuck Weinmann blocked a punt, and Brandon Beard returned a loose football to paydirt.

CV returns to Moyse next Friday to face Glendale in the Pacific League opener. LC heads hope to prepare for the arrival of Rio Hondo Prep.
