Most coaches that resign after a long run with their reputations in tact have a large say in who replaces them. Maggiore, Broussard,Podley and I’am sure Farrar will have a say if he hangs em up which I suspect is coming soon. Suspect coaches are barely given a hi di ho and a “don’t let the locker room door hit you from behind” when they leave. They want their suggestions like a hole in the head.

@Move On!!! Unfortunately, some people are so used to losing in sports as well as in life that they can’t stand to hear the name of a winner. It just brings them pain.

I’m sure Ziola at Los Altos was given the same choice, and Broussard at Burbank, hell, lets throw Maggiore in there too. GEESH, guys, these coaches did great things at their respective schools, they have now moved on. How about a “Thank You,” and then MOVE ON!

“Fake News” A meme that was created by our new Dear Leader bless his heart. My opinion today is that every time someone shouts ‘fake news’, is that the story the are referencing is closer to the truth than they want to admit.

It’s likely White at BP was also given the option to resign or be fired, mushy statements about family time notwithstanding.

It has long been opined that Moschetti was allowed to resign jn lieu of firing. One has to admit his leaving was rather abrupt considering how vocal he was about the success of the program and the direction it was going. And now everytime someone offers an opinion it is Fake News. If that is the case you might as well shut off this site because 99% of the boards can be unsubstantiated opinions including yours. You are just a Fake News homer LM.

La Mirada has made its offer. Coach is considering it. La Mirada needs to do some serious housekeeping in its football program and needs a good man to clean it up.

Is that source Keith Jones? I would think he still loves that program, and wants it to be back on the level that he helped create. Don’t forget they were in the Ship just six seasons ago and he has a good relationship with Oliva.

No offense, but It would be expected to wonder what’s going on at san Gabriel. I don’t think people are knocking down the door for that job. But Los Altos and La Mirada are strong programs who should have coaches in place by now.
From T. Peterson: I was just updated on La Mirada last night. Nothing yet. Same at Los Altos. SG I haven’t heard anything for awhile. My source said he’d let me know but as of yet nothing.
