I wouldn’t forget Joe Orduno… he absolutely destroyed Santa Fe in that 2006 CIF title game.

Cantu was the real deal…Macias might of had a little more talent but Cantu got the most success out of his desire to win and lead his team. I would take either one of them and leave Joey Jordan to Scout team QB…

Superman gets help from Wing Z. Ouch! Northview and Baldwin Park could beat San Dimas for the next decade and not get close to catching up. Better hope they both got transfers again.

Hey sg insider/Holman, don’t be so sensitive, im sure running belly or second man on 3 and long all the time will eventually catch the defense off guard….. oh wait… I think Northview and Baldwin park just scored again ..

No offense to the kid Cantu. But I don’t recall the name, maybe age?, I got a buch of idiots talking trash to me, but no one stated his year , his high school and what he did that made him great , going to a D1 or D2 school doesn”t mean he is great, And if he was, I will recognize and apologize , I wasn’t talking trash about him.

@SG insider- Woody Hayes is attributed to saying 3 things happen when you throw the forward pass…etc…. but many people don’t know that it was former Univ. of Texas Football coach Darrel Royal that was quoted as saying “There are three things that can happen on a forward pass – and two of them are bad.” He meant an incompletion and an interception, of course. The whole SGV knows SD is a running team and if you were an “Insider” you’d know that.. does’t take an insider to see the “tongue in Cheek” commnet in realtion to San Dimas being in a passing tournament.

D1. Do you want facts. I can give you some facts about your beloved cathedral. When college coaches came to ask about Tovar, your beloved coach tried to push conversations to Bryce instead. The Oline coach who put up with all of Pearson b.s finally saw the light and quit because of all the shady stuff that goes on and then Pearson goes trump and tells people that he was going to let him go anyways. what about him trying to get out of playing Loyola. Telling the Loyola coach that they don’t have the talent from last year. What coach says that. It’s Pearson code saying if we can’t put up 60 on you, your not worth my time. Cathedral hates competition because they get exposed for what everyone says about them. Just a great 7 on 7 team period. 7on7 isn’t football.

Who in the DELETED is this Superman? Was he that great? Or self promoting? Able to leap tall buildings at a single bound? Won the heart of Lois Lane? I’ve been following comic heroes for 15 years and have no recollection of his greatness, if wrong I apologize.

#8: Very dumb statement. The same can be said for any type of running play. San Dimas just does not pass and that’s fine. No need to defend it with nonsense.

If you really followed the MVS for 15 years, then you would know who Aaron Cantu is. One of the best QB’s to come out of the SGV. Winner at the HS and college level, started at Southern Utah University. Your ignorance needs no apology.

To help answer that question, He went to Shurr High School where he took his team to CIF playoff games in the mid-2000’s roughly 2009-13, Maybe this will help to jog your memory. One of the toughest QB’s in the past decade to rise from the San Gabriel Valley
