That would be great! Kare Youth is a great start… athletically and character building. Can’the say enough good things about that league.

There seems to be little enforcement of transfer rules unless some coach screams foul. If a kid transfers it can be protested by any coach in the division. Schools that decline to field a team must release an athlete and allow them to transfer to any school to further their opportunity to play.

Village Christian cancelled their season as well. Maybe the Olympic League and Rio Hondo can work together to replace the games lost. Whoever Village and Blair plays weeks 6-10 can play each other!

It’s time to Consolidate Blair and Marshall! They are both 6 thru 12th grade. Make one strictly a High School and the other a Middle School.

I noticed off the 605 freeway Rio Hondo Preps Kare Park is nearing completion. I was thinking what if they were able to keep all of the players that went through the Kare Youth League. Such as Northview’s Steven Comstock and Monrovia’s Javen Walker and Alex Marin or Charter Oaks Jermaine Braddock and Joseph Romero and BJ Ubani of West Covina all Seniors this year. That would be one scary team.
