Northview shut out Arcadia to move up to number four. Monrovia’s Murphee got the Cats off on the right track in league. M-Town is the Rio Hondo leader but who’s next. TC? South Pas? San Marino?

Alhambra welcomed Hawaii but sent them back to the Islands with two consecutive defeats. South Hills started the San Antonio by whitewashing WC. Montebello looks like the Moors’ biggest test in the Almont. Gladstone is still undefeated after seven games. Good team or cupcake schedule? 6. Pasadena (4-1) – Burbank first foe in Pacific.

7. El Rancho (5-1) – Rich Rios (.526) and Dons are the favorites in Del Rio.

9. Arcadia (4-2) – Haram Park leadoff extraordinaire.

10. Charter Oak (2-3) – Chargers beat Northview but taken out early by Bonita.  

11. Gladstone (7-0) – Gladiators perfect so far.   

12. Walnut (4-1-1) – Mustangs look like Huskies biggest challenge in San Antone.  

13. Montebello (4-1) – Ouch! Oilers beat up SG 17-0.  

14. Crescenta Valley (2-2) – Falcons tune up with St. Franks before league starts.

15. Los Altos (4-1) – Chris Corona hitting a cool .550.

16. San Dimas (2-3) – Tough early schedule should prepare Saints for league.

17. San Marino (5-4) – Titans have won four of last five.    

18. Bell Gardens (4-1) – Lancers fall to Moors to open Almont.

19. Temple City (2-3) – Rams clean up on Blair but doesn’t everybody?

20. South Pasadena (4-2) – Southpaw Anthony D’oro is Tigers’ ace.
