Wow! Covina is going to be really good the next couple of years!!! Watch out !! Very young team last year and made it to the finals!! I will be shocked if doesn’t make time semi-final or final over the next couple of years!! The same for Diamond Ranch!!!

What?!? If I read this right, Valencia had a bye and Los Altos beat Fullerton 24-16. So then, why didn’t LA face Valencia (instead of Fullerton)?

Exactly! You have to play defense, can’t just always rely on out scoring your opponent.

It is still just passing tournaments, but Culver City stepped up in competition level with this one. This would seem to indicate that the Centaur scoring machine should be on full display again this fall. They have one two prior passing tournaments this summer, but with competition likely not equal to this caliber. Passing tournaments do play to the strength of the Centaurs, so it remains to be seen if they can duplicate this when the pads come on, but pretty sure they will be scoring points against most opponents. It may still be a game of can they stop their opponents often enough.
