    Don’t we all sit behind a small screen and wrtie. I’ve never put down the players ar LA, they are kids. The problem is with their leader’s not them. You may not think I have any LA football knowledge. I have had 3 sons at LA my youngest is now a junior there. I was at Midnight Madness, where you? If you were you would have noticed the stands were almost empty. Traditionally the alumni are welcomed onto the field but last night they were all turned away.

    @John Doe, you do realize that not all anonymous are the same guy right? Lol
    But anyway to your point, I like how you like to hide behind “the kids” I haven’t read anyone speaking poorly about the kids. They’ve criticized your program and your coaching staff, that’s gonna happen. If you’re gonna spend your time reading what people say then you’re just easy bait….

    @Anonymous Prime
    Your new name is Anonymous Prime because you’re the all-knowing wise man of this blog. And the irony is that you don’t know anything about football, Los Altos football, life in general, manhood, etc…it’s too bad that you hide behind your little screen to criticize young men who are working hard to achieve a common goal. Get over yourself or get out of here, boy.

    Arroyo is tough, and they’re a solid program! The problem Arroyo has is that for the first time they would have to get up and play 5 really good teams in a row, week after week it will catch up to them. For about the last 6 years, they usually play 1 really good team and/or one decent team. Then nothing again until they make playoffs. They got bumped up this year to a division they probably belong in. So no more cake walks for 5 weeks of league getting ready for playoffs. Now they would have to play 9 really good teams to get to finals. No way that’s happening. They havent played 9 really good teams in the last 5 years total

    Because Aram never got around to see teams enough. Let’s be honest in his last 2 years working at Trib, how many saw him at practice for local schools? Or 7 on 7 games, or he couldnt even make it to the big tournaments. Come on man just show up for an hour and look around! But when it came time for the 2 minute drill he was there rambling on like he even knew what your team looked like, from a Maxpreps page. I know its prob extremely difficult to see every single team. However, he could’ve seen most of them. At least Escarcega shows up to these. Aram was too busy tweeting where he was eating lunch and how much money he was winning or losing on horse races. That’s the truth. Shame too because when he first started, he was great for the area. Towards the end, not so much

    Los Altos fans are a joke thinking 3 sophomore WR’s that transferred in who have put in no work in pads will take them top top 3 in this league. Get real. LA HAS NO LINE! THEY WILL GET MAN HANDLED BY CO, DR, AND SH TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!! Also you have coach Long as your defensive coordinator, nuff said hahaha!

    What LA needs to realize is that even with similar talent with CO, SH, DR, the difference is coaching, Farrah, Bechtel, Martinez will run circles around the staff at LA. Like I said before, they’ll play for 4th place.

    1. Here ye here ye….most teams that go outside their own programs do well ( as stated CO, SH, DR, and others like the most obvious, Colony,Upland, LA, CC, RC, Northview, private schools and on and on).
    2. Arroyo would get beat up in the hacienda weekly by everyone. The only team they may get is Walnut, and depending on the kids that stay at WC instead of selling out to local teams, maybe arroyo could get WC depending on what I stated. As for the league they should try and step up into …they should try the Valle Vista league. It’s the next step up from that league they are in when you compare the VV to the Hacienda to the Palomares.
    3. You could make an allstar squad from the MVL and they would get beat by DR, LA, and especially Co. Anyone on here who knows anything about football and the leagues and divisions….knows I am telling it like it is. Don’t ahte me for it. Take it from someone who has coached in all three leagues. No chance in the Hacienda nor Palomares. The VV is the next rung up. But hey maybe AHS can make another run in their new Div. I doubt it but maybe. They may have good staff but gotta have the kids and to be in those two leagues compared to the VV……the VV is where they should ask to go.
    Good luck to them and all the teams as they try and give us all something to talk about.

    Wow! Charter Oak beats Arroyo and SEM by at least 5 TD’s. South hills and Diamond Ranch by at least 3 TD’s. Los Altos by at least 2 TD’s. West Covina would be a toss up, there only for sure win would be Walnut. Cut it with all the nonsense. Uncle Coco, you sir are a joke for thinking otherwise. Unbelievable!lol… idiot
    Can’t believe you just wrote, and believe South hills and Dranch would struggle in a win against Arroyo and SEM. lol YIKES

    Ive been apart of this program awhile now and Alot of people are underestimating LA. Everyone thinks they only have to worry about #88. They have 3 sophomore WRs who will do some damage along with a Jr running back no one in this area knows about who is very shifty. Not to mention a good defense. I think LA will be ok and prove alot of nay sayers wrong. Good luck LA

  16. July 29, 2018 - 8:23 pm | Permalink

    …And speaking of SEM, I think it’s impressive what they do considering their enrollment numbers. 1200 kids total half of those are girls. That puts you at about 150 kids per class on campus to choose from. Not bad! Gallardo has done well.

  17. July 29, 2018 - 8:20 pm | Permalink

    @insider
    Pure disrespectful to the the MVL at least the top two teams anyway. Let’s take last year for example. Charter Oaks wins by far but I think South Hills DRanch struggle but beat Arroyo and SEM by close margins. Los Altos probably loses to both MVL teams.
    To say The JV teams win is an overstated JOKE! The only difference would be recruiting and depth. Which is probably one in the same. CO and SH programs would be terrible if they just played with local kids so they reach out and do it better than most programs could ever dream of. Los Altos is a top tier program when they get outside help but when they don’t they’re on par with Arroyo and SEM.

    People keep underestimating LA thinking they only have #88 as a weapon, wait till you see the Jr who’s a running backs no knows about, also they have 3 sophomore WRs who will make a defense look silly, and not to mention they should have a very good defense.

    Typical Arroyo Homer’s!!! Trying to make every thread about them. Let’s end this discussion right here. Charter Oaks JV team would win the MVL, and South Hills JV would finish 2nd. Arroyo couldn’t compete week in and week out in this league because the physical toll it would have on their team. Playing CO, South Hills, Diamond Ranch and West Covina would be physically be more than they could handle. They are fine were there at. A big fish in a very small pond.

    Arroyo would only beat Walnut. If you take Walnut out and put Arroyo in than Arroyo goes 0-5. Arroyo beat SEM by one point and won a D12 championship, that’s not saying much. The D12 championship came because the field goal kicker slipped. Arroyo is not that good. They belong in the MVL.
