  1. The Dodgers and Rockies will square off at 1pm today at Dodger Stadium to determine the NL West title.
  2. The Brewers and the Cubs will also play a one game playoff to determine the NL Central title today at 10am.
  3. LA King Dustin Brown broke a finger in team’s last preseason game and will be out indefinitely.             
  4. Zlatlan Ibrohimovic scored twice as the Galaxy beat Vancouver 3-0. The win pulled the Galaxy to within two points of the last playoff spot in the Western Conference with three games left.
  5. LeBron James scored 9 points in 15 minutes in his Laker’s preseason debut Sunday night a 124-107 loss to the Nuggets.
  6. Texas Tech’s Alan Bowman who as leading FBS schools averaging 389-yards passing, left Saturday’s game against West Virginia and was taken to the hospital with a collapsed lung. Bowman took a big hit getting crunched between two Mountaineer players.
  7. Ganesha’s Zaquand Irby needs just 118 yards to reach 2000 for the 2018 season and 467 to equal his 2017 mark of 2,349.
  8. On this day in 1977 soccer great Pele played in his final soccer match for the New York Cosmos an exhibition game against Santos. 75,000 were in attendance at Giants Stadium.
  9. Covina @ San Dimas Thursday night at 7pm.

    How do you run for 4oo yards in one game yet score only 6 points as a team? Do you quit trying after reaching the one yard line or fall down on purpose?

    Ganesha is a 99.999% run the ball offense. Thru 7 games their QB has completed 11 of 27 passes, 1 TD, 2 INT. QB rate of 36.2.
    He is their workhorse and is getting the job done. Has 205 carries.

    #7 Do we just rely on Ganesha inputting numbers for Zaquand Irby, or is someone independently verifying in person or on film? Maxpreps shows he rushed for over 400 yards against Azusa. Any Azusa fans or coaches out there care to confirm that because this sounds like a lot of fake news?!
