1. Former Green Bay Packers/Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr passed away at the age of 85.

2. The NBA Finals is set: The Golden State Warriors vs. the Toronto Raptors. Game 1 is Thursday night in Toronto.

3. The radio voice of the Auburn Tigers, Rod Bramblett, and his wife Paula, died from injuries suffered in a car accident Saturday night in Alabama.

4. New England Patriots tight end Benjamin Watson faces a four game suspension by the NFL for violating the league’s substances policy with a failed test in March.

5. The Dodgers completed a three game sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday with an 11-7 win. Justin Turner had five hits and Joc Pederson homered to spark the victory.

6. The LA Galaxy snapped a three game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Orlando City Friday night.

7. Simon Pagenaud held off Alexander Rossi to win the Indianapolis 500 Sunday.

8. Former Chicago White Sox star Frank Thomas “The Big Hurt” turns 51 today.

10. Take a moment today on this Memorial Day to remember the men and women of our military who sacrificed their lives for our country.

    The deaths of Bramblett and wife remind us that more people die in auto accidents than in terrorist attacks or drug overdoses. We spend massive sums to implement the war on terrorism and the war on drugs; shouldn’t we now launch a war on cars?
