1. A brawl broke out at the end of the Kansas-Kansas State game Tuesday night as both benches emptied and multiple punches were thrown. Kansas won the game 81-60.

2. Derek Jeter and Larry Walker were elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame Tuesday.

3. The Atlanta Braves signed free agent outfielder Marcell Ozuna to a one-year, $18 million deal. Ozuna hit .241 with 29 home runs and 89 RBI last season for the St. Louis Cardinals.

4. The NFL detailed its plans for the draft April 23-25 on the Las Vegas strip.

5. AP College Basketball Top 5: 1. Baylor 2. Gonzaga 3. Kansas 4. San Diego State 5. Florida State.

6. The LA Wildcats of the XFL kick off their season Saturday February 8 on the road against the Houston Roughnecks.

7. Azusa Pacific has won nine straight and is 14-3 overall.

8. Damian Lillard scored 61 points to lead Portland to a 129-124 overtime win over Golden State Monday night.

9. On this day in 2006 the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant scored 81 points in a 122-104 win over the Toronto Raptors.

10. Former Los Altos/USC/NFL star Shaun Cody turns 37 today.

    I agree with Tim that it’s hard to get into basketball, which is why I glossed-over the fact that Kansas won the game. I’m far more interested in who won the fight.
