    The St. Louis Cardinals have resumed play after a long interruption caused by a coronavirus outbreak on the team.
    Unfortunately, a player on the Cincinnati Reds has tested positive for the disease, and the Reds’ Saturday and Sunday home games against the Pittsburgh Pirates were postponed as a precaution.

    The Dodgers just slipped into first place in the National League West; let’s see how long they can stay there. We’re now one-third of the way through the shortened major league baseball season.

    It’s actually my ignorance not my bias. You know there is a difference. My ignorance comes from not giving a crap about basketball or the overpaid crybabies that play it. LeBron is just the biggest and the loudest crybaby of the bunch.

    What happened in baseball? Oh yea, that’s right ,players and coaches from 2 out of 30 teams tested positive. No one said if they got sick or were asymptomatic. It would be interesting if at the same time MLB, NBA,NFL were testing for Corona they also tested for HIV, venereal disease and aids.

    Lebron always turns it up about ten notches come playoff time, so the recent losses mean absolutely nothing.

    @Rams Fan:
    #6) I don’t believe the Lakers were giving their best effort during all eight games, especially once they had secured the #1 seed. I think the NBA has done a great job thus far in providing us with live sports. That Portland vs Brooklyn game last night was exciting stuff.
    #8) The theory is if you keep everyone in a bubble that has tested negative and assuming the bubble isn’t breached, which almost happened with the Lemon Pepper Lou incident. Than you could play the game and be safe since everyone is negative. All the social distancing and wearing mask while in the bubble are just extra precautions. Outside the bubble, if you are not doing ALL you can to protect yourself and others, than you are just simply playing Russian Roulett.

    The Lakers record is actually 52-19 on the season, that is why they are the #1 seed. The last 8 games of the season because they were in the bubble dont count more than the 63 other games they played.

    Are you asking why the NBA is being so thorough in making sure no player gets COVID while in the bubble? Besides the fact they spend millions to create the bubble…have you need seen what happened in baseball?

    #6 So the playoffs mean what exactly when a 3-5 team is the #1 seed? Basketball is just a complete joke.
    #8 Someone please explain that stat and how it supports all the covid protocols. Social distancing, face masks, not riding a bus or sharing meals together??
    From T. Peterson: The Lakers still finished with the best record in the Western Conference so they get the number one seed.
