@ Grim Reaper: That’s pretty grim; not all of us are in such bad shape. I have a few years behind me, but that’s it. I just enjoy writing about sports, among other things I do, like going to work.

Artie Moreno set to deal Mike Trout to the Yankees as soon as World Series is over. Trout is very unhappy with team mates efforts and wants to be closer to home. It’s a done deal.

Do a lot of posters to the Mid Valley buy toys, Something tells me that Lego and Hasbro could focus better, and the Mid Valley could find better advertising partners that would benefit the site with higher ad rates by offering products more likely to appeal, that is if anyone knows the demographics of visitors here.
Just a guess but it seems to be an older group of men. maybe boner pills and hair loss treatments? Or at least alcoholic beverages and young Asian women who want to date old guys, (sure they do! ha ha, but then money makes you look younger and a lot more attractive to some women )

Talk about dominating: Clayton Kershaw allowed only three hits, struck out 13 batters and walked just one. Kershaw’s performance last night had to be one of the best in his entire career, and it certainly was his best in the postseason.

Watch out: The Dodgers will get the winner of today’s game between the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals in their NL division series, which starts next Tuesday. I wouldn’t bet against the Padres right now.
If the generally light-hitting Cards manage to advance, they could still be a problem for the Dodgers because they have some pretty good pitching.

Go Oakland. I’ve always liked the A’s, and I hope they crush those championship imposters, the Houston Astros.
