  1. After hitting four home runs in the eighth inning and rallying to beat San Diego 11-9 Wednesday night, the Dodgers beat the Padres again 8-3 Thursday night. However they are still two games behind the San Francisco Giants with three games left.  
  2. The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-21 on Thursday Night Football. 
  3. Arizona Cardinals at Rams, Sunday 1:05 p.m. SoFi Stadium. 
  4. Las Vegas Raiders at Chargers on Monday Night Football 5:15 p.m. SoFi Stadium. 
  5. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show Sunday February 13th at SoFi Stadium. 
  6. The St. Louis Cardinals have tabbed Adam Wainwright to start the NL Wildcard game Wednesday October 6th. 
  7. College Football AP Top 5: 1. Alabama 2. Georgia 3. Oregon 4. Penn St. 5. Iowa.

  10. On this date in 1932 the Yankees’ Babe Ruth hit his legendary “called shot”. He pointed to centerfield and then stepped into the box and homered into the centerfield bleachers at Wrigley Field in Chicago in the fifth inning of Game 3 of the World Series. The Yankees went on to beat the Cubs 7-5.
